Become your own Influencer

How often do you scroll through Instagram or your Facebook feed, looking at the picturesque snippets of other peoples lives? You may flick through glossy magazines and view TV, wondering how the other people get to have the perfect body, fantastic homes or seemingly enviable lives. Increasingly it is becoming easy to be swamped in your insecurities, fears, wants or desires as you compare your life to the world of others.

Take the time to become your own life influencer as you expouse the thought that “I am enough”. Building this thought within you can give you a sense of calm and happiness allowing you to change the direction of your life for the better. Take the opportunity to make it into a mantra, which you repeat every morning or even throughout the day, until it sinks in and your mind accepts it. As you allow this positive aspect to build within your life, you will begin to discover that many things are your own source of happiness. With ongoing positive reinforcement as your own influencer, you can begin to experience that “I am enough, I have enough, I have always been enough and I always will be enough.” ♾ Awaken your Mind ♾

Expel Undesirable Emotions

Realise that suppressing or subduing thoughts and emotions, specifically the unfavourable ones, can be perilous as you continue on your journey of awakening, meditation or attunement. Suppressing an emotion does not admonish an emotion. The emotion still exists within you, secreted in the background of your mind and subconscious.

As you progress and the energy of your Life Force enlivens your form, these energies will feed all aspects of your being, including emotions that have been hidden away under the proverbial rug or in a darkened corner of your mind. The emotional energy can build in the background and lead to a fiery outburst which can create harm and additional causality. You should acknowledge and expel the emotion to ensure that it does not smoulder and grow within, causing unimaginable problems.

Lessons of Life

It is commonly stated that life teaches us through our mistakes. When you slip up, simply ask yourself what you were destined to learn, as opposed to searching for justifications or to find others to blame. We grow more from our mistakes, errors or blunders when we recognise and accept such lessons with humility and grace.

Quelling Karma

Karma in its simplest manifestation is the principle of cause and effect, implying the consequences which emerge out of any thought or action. There is only one infallible means to quell Karma, which is to be proactive in your thoughts and actions to minimize the cycle of cause and effect. Each and every moment you should strive to be aware of the possible effects or ramifications of your thoughts, actions, or inactions at any point in time. Instead of instantly reacting to life, pause to consider your various courses of action, prior to proceeding. This judicious application of containment can help you to quell Karma and lead a more balanced life.

Your own Spectator

Your awareness makes it possible for you to become attentive of aspects within your life. A pivotal proficiency to grasp is to be able to observe your internal thoughts and emotions as if you were a spectator. Whenever you become aware of emotions, thoughts or feelings, you have an opportunity. You can stop briefly, then decide to accept or alter your way of thinking. An Instrumental Mind

If made use of intelligently and listened to objectively, the mind is an exceptional instrument. However, if employed wrongly it can end up being unruly and destructive as it takes control of your life and dictates your emotions. Paying attention to your mind objectively pertains to your capacity to hear your own thoughts without being unduly affected by the actuality that you are the one who originated them. It is not an easy thing to do, as you listen to your thoughts with objectivity. Meaning that you must cultivate the courage to fairly assess them as they arise and make a choice to accept, modify or reject them.

When you are feeling down or unhappy, acknowledge that you are not the voice of your mind, however, you are the one that hears it.
